How Far Along: 32 1/2 Weeks (7 and 1/2 left to go!)
Size of Baby: 5.5 lbs! I had an ultrasound today to check Liam's position, and we discovered that not only does Liam weigh 5 and 1/2 pounds, but his head is measuring 3 weeks bigger than it should at this point! He's definitely working on being bigger than his big brother was at birth.. haha. My doctor said that we'll do another ultrasound in a month to check his weight. Depending on how Liam has grown at that point we'll discuss a possible induction. And even if I do go into labor on my own, the doctor said that it's likely that I won't make it to my due date. I couldn't help but let the words "Praise God" slip out of my mouth at the very thought of an early (but safe) delivery!
Gender: He's still a boy!I have more ultrasound pictures to prove it.
Symptoms: I'm still struggling with occasional nausea- mostly at night. The doctor said that now it's probably due to the growing baby. She recommended smaller meals throughout the day. We'll see.
I'm also dealing with heartburn, but Nexium works wonders so I can't complain.
I had stopped taking my supplements for a while because swallowing so many pills would make me nauseous, but I'm taking them again, and I'm really noticing a difference. I'm sleeping better and seem to have more energy during the day.
The newest "symptom" I'm experiencing is swelling. It's the worst in my feet and ankles, but I'm also noticing it in my face.
Overall, I'm usually always in some discomfort. The bigger Liam gets, the more pressure I feel, which makes it hard to move around much.
I am, however, so thankful that he's healthy and growing. His movements are more defined, and I love it.
