Christmas 2008
My favorite thing about this Christmas was... having Silas inside my belly and thinking about how he'll be here in person next year!
My favorite Christmas gift was... the Destination Maternity gift card that my Mom gave me!
My most meaningful Christmas gift was... the poem my Dad wrote for me.
The funniest Christmas moment was... when my Mom opened the Red Ryder BB gun at our White Elephant gift exchange! ...this was followed by my brother opening a Disney Princess calendar and my grandma opening a remote controlled helicopter!
My favorite food this year was... my Uncle Rod's Ham!
Needles to say, we had a great Christmas! Silas particularly enjoyed all the yummy Christmas treats *wink* Research says he's weighing about 3.75 pounds now and is about 16.7 inches long. I wonder how they get those figures? Research also says that I'm gaining about 1 pound per week- yikes! And because I seem to be having a textbook pregnancy, I'm experiencing the symptom of the week- shortness of breath! It's been more intense in the last week, slowing me down just a little. I've also has a couple of "accidents" (I can't believe I'm admitting this on the blog) due to Silas's favorite spot being right on top of my bladder! I can't believe I'm less than 8 weeks out from my due date. I'm beginning to soothe my anxiety by making a list of every possible thing I can make a list for- what to buy, what to pack, what to prepare, etc. Now if I can only muster up enough energy to actually use my lists to get things done!
